According to CNET Asia on their website, holograms technology will be the next big thing in South Korea’s music industry. SNSD's label, SM Entertainment is said to have experimented with this technology for the past decade, and it was successfully implemented for the SNSD “V Concert” in the last January. SM Entertainment is planning to open “V-Theater”, a concert hall specifically for virtual performances by their artists in August this year.
